Paris is known for its elegant monuments, Haussmanian buildings and the diversity of its museums as well as some of its emblematic gardens such as the Tuileries or Luxembourg.  But did you know the actual number of parks, squares, gardens and hidden corners of botanical beauty which make up the « green » fabric of Paris is very close to 500?  The Capital harbors so many delightful corners which we ignore!  It is also important to realize that nearly one quarter of the 493 public gardens in Paris are open around the clock with many others posting extended hours up to 10pm in the summer.  Some of these havens of chlorophyl are rather hidden while others are in plain sight, yet overlooked.
